Jared is a multidisciplinary performing artist and athlete, born and raised in Vancouver. At four years old, he began training in Capoeira, which inspired him to pursue Gymnastics, as well as Singing and Musical Theatre. As a Trampoline and Tumbling Gymnast, Jared has trained across Canada, the United States, England and France. He has represented Canada at three World Age Group Championships, earning two World Cup Silver medals, twelve National Championship medals and three Canadian titles. Along with his athletic career, Jared studied as both a classical and pop/jazz vocalist. Some of his theatre credits include working with The Arts Club, Royal City Musical Theatre, and the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
After graduating high school, Jared began training in Montreal with Cirque Du Soleil, where he became a member of the original recreation of “OVO” the North American tour.
As a dancer, he has trained in Toronto, Montreal, New York, and with Vancouver based companies such as KI&Co, Illustrative Society’s Mentorship Program, and at Harbour Dance Centre.
In addition to his experience as a hip-hop and contemporary dancer, Jared is known for his unique acrobatic-fusion style, and has had the opportunity to teach throughout Vancouver and Toronto.
Jared has continued to explore other crafts and disciplines, expanding his repertoire to include aerial acrobatics, handbalancing and contortion. When not in the studio, on stage or camera, Jared is a psychology student at the University of British Columbia, a dance and tumbling instructor, and a certified personal Trainer.
