The Landing Dance Center was established in August 2008 by professional dance artist Brenna McLaud. Her vision is to provide a safe, creative and non-judgmental environment for young aspiring dancers and community artists to train, perform and choreograph in.

The Landing Dance Center is a vibrant dance facility and professional rehearsal space for aspiring and professional dancers and home of emerging, youth-based dance company The Landing Dance Project.

As a central resource for the Vancouver dance community, The Landing enables young dancers to train alongside working dance professionals and choreographers to collaborate on diverse and innovative dance projects in a supportive and creative environment.

The Landing's programs include classes in a variety of dance styles from ballet, modern, tap, jazz, private technique and pilates. A host of master classes, workshops and dance intensives are also offered throughout the year and our studio space also hosts the Artists in Residence program, offering creative resources to professionals from across the dance community.
