Kay Meek Culture Day

The Landing Dance Project will be performing at the Kay Meek Culture Day along with all sorts of other artists. Together they will turn the Kay Meek Centre into a "live site" of simultaneous performances taking place in both theatres as well as throughout the lobby.

Canada Day Parade 2010

After collaborating and choreographing their own pieces, The Landing's dancers will deck themselves out in Canadian pride and dance down the streets of downtown Vancouver. This is the second annual Canada Day Parade at Canada Place as well as The Landing's second year participating. Once again, Brown Bros Ford and Proshow will be generously helping us by providing the dancers with a vehicle, driver and sound system.

The parade begins at Georgia & Broughton at 7pm on July 1st and ends at Thurlow and Melville. For more details on the event you can go to the Canada Day at Canada Place website.

IGNITE! Youth Festival

Members of the Landing Dance project will be performing in the eleventh annual IGNITE! Youth Festival as part of the dance evening titled Swish. They will be performing their group jazz piece, "Be Somebody" and Yuval Jarus-Hakak will be performing his contemporary solo, "Man in the Yellow Shirt." The show features a wide range of youth dancers from the area and promises to be an incredible night.
